This roundtable discussion, organized by The Garage Journal at the 8th Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair, will consider the functions of the museum as a social institution during the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia and other global crises. Participants will discuss Russian museums’ strategies of interaction with their audiences, means of attracting funding, and other aspects of museum work that are particularly important in a time of crisis.
